Niersteiner Heiligenbaum Riesling Spätlese Halbtrocken

Notes - The Louis Guntrum cellars lay on the banks of the Rhine between Oppenheimer and Nierstein. 11th generation, sole owner, Louis Konstantin Guntrum, is managing the estate today. Niersteiner Heiligenbaum is a a small and exclusive vineyard site, the grapes being surrounded by a medieval wall like the Clos de Vougeot-vineyards in Burgundy. This shelter produces a very specific micro-climate for the Marl and clayish loam soil.
