Chateau La Fleur Boireau is a 10 hectare estate is located in the district of
Montagne St Emilion, in the “lieu-dit” “Bertineau”, the vineyard abuts the appellation Lalande de Pomerol. The 30 to 35 year old vines are planted to 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet franc on mainly clay-calcareous soils. This is a floral, soft, supple and feminine claret for drinking now or over the next 2 to 3 years. Please note this was previously labelled as Chateau La Fleur - it is now law that if two or more Chateaux have the same name the owner's family name must be appended to the name of the wine. Hence

Chateau La Fleur Boireau as it is owned by the Boireau family.

Chateau La Fleur Boireau 2006 is a floral, feminine, supple wine with plum and red fruit character. Ideal for drinknig now or over the next year or two. Good value from one of the St Emilion satellites.
