Carmen Winemaker's Maipo Reserve Red

Notes - 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11 % Carmenere,14% Syrah, 9% Merlot and 16 % Petite Sirah.100% of the wine was aged in French oak barrels for a period of 12 months. After bottling, the wine was aged for additional 12 months prior to its release. An excellent Bordeaux-style blend. The nose is deep and smoky. Rich, clean and integrated on the palate, with layering and style. It is powerful and fruity. Earthy, ripe, with notes of tobacco, plums and cassis. "Packed with blackberry, black currant and raspberry fruit, along with thickly layered espresso bean, dark chocolate and toast notes.
