The Providence Still 10 year old

Notes - The Providence Estate, based near Chaguanas, just south of the Coparo river, draws on spring water, prized for its tiny mineral content, but different from the water used by Angostura. In consequence the Providence Patent Still produces a slightly heavier rum than is normally expected in Trinidad. This is a rare survivor from an age of standardisation. Pale gold colour and bright. Light, pleasant, floral tones, although alcohol also evident. Quite oily on the palate, slightly smoky and light molasses flavour. More complex than standard Trinidad rums.Classic Rum
