Notes - The Best's Victoria range punches above its weight. The wines are predominantly produced from St Andrew's fruit, which is harvested in the cool of the night then transferred 108 nautical miles as the crow flies south to Concongella for crushing, vinification, maturation, blending and bottling. The Victoria wine range is eminently approachable as young wines and generally excellent with Asian cuisine. An aromatically lifted wine with minerally notes. Fresh, bright fruit of lemon-lime and hint of spice. Natural acidity and lifted varietal fruit provide excitement for the tastebuds with excellent balance and length. An eminently versatile wine: serve chilled as an aperitif, or as an accompaniment for spicy Asian cuisine, vegetarian, pasta, seafood and white meat, such as veal and chicken or caramelised vegetables with marjoram.
