Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Champ Gain

Notes - The Champs Gain is a superb vineyard situated on the lower part of the Mont Rachet slopes. Louis Jadot maintains purchase agreements with growers in Champs Gain based on the quality of the fruit each year and produces a wine of particular delicacy and finesse. Light straw colour. Quite oaky nose, savoury palate. Hints of herbs and spices (fennel maybe) and green apples. A little closed but the quality there is evident - good clean finish, really well-balanced acidity.
