Tasting Notes: Simon Hackett Brightview Semillon is a pale straw colour and brilliant with a tinge of gold. Nose tending towards citrus fruits, lemons and limes with a hint of melon. The nose is further enhanced by a creamy, buttery richness. Mouth filling and rich palate at the outset, this opens into a generous and weighty mid palate where succulent citrus characters are found in abundance. Showing incredible structure and depth, the palate finishes with a neat, clean, crisp acidity.
Food & Wine match: Serve lightly chilled with vegetarian food, white meats and fleshy fish dishes and shell fish. Excellent with creamy pasta dishes and risottos but equally delicious enjoyed on its own.
