Vina Estampa Carmenere / Merlot

Wine information: Vina Estampa is a premium Chilean wine producer and pioneer and avant-gardist in the expression of the art of Assemblage, the art of combining two or more noble varieties so that each contributes its best characteristics to our wines. Vina Estampa has more than 400 hectares of vineyard divided among three properties, planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carménère and Syrah, which serve as the base for the assemblages. The vineyards also include blocks of Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Petite Sirah and Viognier to increase the character and complexity of the wines. 85% Carménère blended with 15% Merlot.

Tasting Notes: Vina Estampa Carmenere / Merlot is a dark, vivid violet-red in colour. Soft herbal notes, with hints of vanilla and sweet chocolate on the nose. The palate is soft, unctuous and velvety, with sweet, candied notes.
