Wine information: The 15 hectare Domaine de la Ville Rouge was founded in 2006 and is situated, in the heart of Crozes Hermitage, 5km south of Tain l'Hermitage. 100% Syrah. Crozes Hermitage Terre d'Eclat 2006 is a rich and polished, with almond cocoa and mocha notes out in front of the core of dark currant fig fruit. Plush and smoky through the finish, with the enticing incense, mineral and black tea notes. Solid length. Try with all roast lamb or other meat dishes.
