Tasting Notes - 60% Garnacha & 40% Cariņena. Fermented in stainless
steel tanks at 28ūC with maceration for 28 to 34 days.
Aged 14 months in new French Allier and American
oak, and 7 months in bottle. 14% Vol.
Dense, black cherry with purple rim, powerful and
alluring nose of crushed cherries, aromatic herbs,
cinnamon, and nutmeg, very concentrated with rich, full
and voluptuous flavours in the mouth of ripe plum fruit
and berries with mineral and herbal notes, great
structure, silky tannins which broaden into a memorable
finish of great style and persistence. A really outstanding
Priorat that may be enjoyed now and also laid down for
5 or more years.
