Cofrade Blanco DOC Rioja

Wine information: Established in 2001, Bodegas del Medievo is an exciting new winery situated in Aldeanueva de Ebro (La Rioja) about 50 km from Logroño, the capital of DOC Rioja. They are located in the Rioja Baja, in the southeast of the Rioja region where the climate is warmer and more Mediterranean than the Alta / Alavesa. Bodegas del Medievo’s objective is to produce high quality wines with a modern wine-making style hence crafting outstanding, fruit driven wines of great elegance. Cofrade Blanco is 100% Viura (20% of which is barrel-fermented)

Tasting Notes: Cofrade Blanco is a pale lemon colour with greenish notes. It has aromas of tropical fruits - citrus, lime, pineapple and apricot. Fresh and full on palate, well-structured, rounded fruit, peaches and citrus flavours, good acidity, very fresh, attractive and long persistence.
