Moulin A Vent

Notes - Notes - Château des Jacques is probably one of the most prestigious estates in Beaujolais. The bulk of the production goes towards their highly regarded Moulin a Vent. In addition to this, the Château produces five different "Clos" wines, which are all vinified separately. The grapes are destemmed prior to a traditional vinification. The individual Clos wines are matured in oak casks for a year. The Louis Jadot Moulin à Vent "La Roche" has a very deep garnet-red colour with brilliant tints. It releases a very expressive nose of violet, faded rose and ripened little black fruits.
