Sancerre Rouge

Wine information: Domaine Bailly Reverdy was created in 1988 by Frank and Jean-Francois Bailly although the vineyards, located in the top Sancerre village of Bué, have been in the family since the turn of the century. This lovely ruby-red coloured Pinot Noir, with brick-red glints was matured for 12 months in oak barrels. Plummy and peppery bouquet, on the palate, it is powerful yet round and smooth, enlivened by flavours of cherry and violet. Ready for drinking, it makes an ideal partner for white meats and salmon.
