Notes - Les Domaines Paul Mas is a group of four family estates covering 81ha (200 acres) of vineyard on the hills bordering the Hérault Valley in Languedoc in the south of France. They are near the Mediterranean sea, close to the small town of Pézenas which inspired the famous playwright Molière, and not too far from such magnificent historic sites as the Canal du Midi (constructed in 1790 by Paul Riquet) and Valmagne Abbey. 100% Viognier from low-yileding 14 years old vines. The wine is bright gold yellow with straw yellow tints. On the palate there are dried fruits, peach and floral (violet) aromas with a hint of Acacia honey notes. Rich, fresh and mellow with a good length and toasted notes. Serve with seafood and fish dishes, white meats, blue cheeses, tarts and fruit desserts.
