Notes - The Ragnaud-Sabourin family are growers and also own 50 hectares of vineyards in the Grande Champagne region. The Grande Champagne region is considered to be the best Cognac-producing area of the region. The estate was established in 1850 and the company is currently managed by third and forth generations of the founding family and the continuity of style has been guaranteed by employing the same family as cellarmasters during this period. This Cognac, matured in barrels for approximately 40 years, is naturally 46° proof. Its long ageing in red oak casks lend the Cognac all the typical features of the Grand Champagne, with its marked Charente rancio characteristics. It is a deep mahogany with a mellow and fruity (quince) nose. A Cognac of great finesse with a lenghty. persistent finish. Grape Varieties - 60% Ugni Blanc and 40% Folle Blanche.
