Notes - Sybille Kuntz and Markus Kuntz-Riedlin are two of the leaders of the Mosel region's Riesling renaissance. The husband and wife team both came from winemaking families, however their Sybille Kuntz Estate is less than 20 years old. The vineyard plantings of the Sybille Kuntz Estate are between 40 and 80 years old. They have been cultivated since 1990 under ecological conditions. The couple adheres to the saying, that wine is made in the vineyard not in the winery. Their focus on low yield and their committment to producing pure and natural Rieslings have resulted in superb grapes. The Estate Dry Riesling is an example of the new dry style of modern Riesling.
