Wine information: Barren Jack was the original name for the dam now called Burrinjack. It is a major dam that was built to provide fresh water to the once dry lands of the now flourishing Riverina region. Barren Jack offers the rewards of this wonderful foresight - good soils, abundant sunshine and a passion for winemaking.

Tasting Notes: Barren Jack Semillon / Chardonnay has an array of lifted fresh fruit aromas like citrus zest, passionfruit and stonefruit. The palate delivers a mouthful of lime, peach and pineapple.

Food & Wine match: Ideal with salads and seafood dishes.
