Notes - The Glenfarclas Distillery, established in 1836, is the true home of one Scottish family, the Grants, who since 1865 have been united by a single vision – the creation of the perfect malt whisky, the ultimate taste of Scotland. Glenfarclas was named Distiller of the Year 2006 at the whisky industry’s Icons of Whisky dinner. Many connoisseurs consider the 15 year old blend from any distillery to be the benchmark for all their whiskies. Glenfarclas 15 year old is a rich gold / amber with a luscious, unctuous oily oak character and is delicately peated. The finish is gloriously sherry sweet, gently smoky / long and distinguished.
