Reignac Blanc Sec

Notes - Chateau de Reignac was purchased by the current owners,Yves et Stephanie Vatelot, in 1990 and since then there has been an extensive renovation programme, including the introduction of many new innovations, and the signing-up Michel Rolland as consultant oenologist. It has since been recognised as one of the finest generic producers in Bordeaux. The Reignac Blend is a 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 35%Semillon and 5% Muscadelle blend and is aged in new oak barrels, on its lees for 8 months. The wine itself is a pale, golden colour and has hints of new oak, orange notes (marmalade), lemon citrus and honey suckle on the nose. These all follow on to the elegant, fresh and lively palate.
