Notes - The Glenfarclas Distillery, established in 1836, is the true home of one Scottish family, the Grants, who since 1865 have been united by a single vision – the creation of the perfect malt whisky, the ultimate taste of Scotland. Glenfarclas was named Distiller of the Year 2006 at the whisky industry’s Icons of Whisky dinner. The Glenfarclas 30 year old was the outright trophy winner at the International Spirits Challenge 1996 from an entry of over 110 malts. Described as a full complex aroma combining fruit and spices similar to a fruit cake, an extraordinary deep spirit, warm and rich leaving a lingering fruit and nut chocolate feel on the palate.
