Tasting Notes: Rosè with shades of copper, good intensity, this Champagne displays lively, expressive, aromas dominated by the scent of wild strawberries. It is full-bodied, with zestful, assertive fruitiness.
Reviews:
"A fresh rosé, displaying flavors of raspberry, fig, tangy cherry and smoke, with well-integrated acidity. Focused and harmonious, with a spiced, lip-smacking finish. Drink now through 2014." 91 Points, Wine Spectator.
Orange-pink with a vigorous bead. Smoky red berry, cherry and tobacco aromas with a subtle floral overlay. Firm, vaguely bitter red fruit flavors are nicely focused, with a juicy note of tangerine gaining strength with air. The long, mineral-driven finish shows good grip. I like this wine's mix of fleshiness and dryness. Stephen Tanzer 90 Points (NV) - Nov 08. By Josh Raynolds.
