Notes - The Esporão Estate, located in Reguengos de Monsaraz, (190Km South East of Lisbon), is one of the largest and oldest domains in the Alentejo region, dating back to Roman times. In 1992 a Lisbon financier, Dr. Jose Roquette, bought Esporão and has subsequently invested heavily within the Estate. David Baverstock, Esporão's Australian Winemaker, has been making wine in Portugal for the last eighteen years using the best New World techniques to express the true potential of Portuguese indigenous varietals. A blend of Rabo de Ovelha, Roupeiro and Perrum. Rich and full with an aromatic fruity palate.
