Bodegas Herederos Argueso Amontillado Muy Viejo Sherry 18%

Wine information: Herederos de Argüeso was founded by Mr. Leon de Argüeso y Argüeso in 1822. The business was massively expanded in 1905, constituting new wineries around the original core of the Bodega San Jose in Sanlucar de Barrameda. Gradually, a series of new buildings were added to complete the winery. Today Argüeso has 26,000 square meters of covered cellar areas and now has 25 employees - it recognised by many as the best producer of sherry in Sanlucar de Barrameda. 100% Palomino grapes, this very old Amontillado is aged through the solera system for a minimum of 10 years. It is dark golden in colour. The palate is delicate and very well balanced, with a very long, intense finish.
