Tasting Notes - This wine is a beautiful rich golden green colour. The nose is fragrant and powerful with honeyed, quince, lime, vanilla and petrol notes. The palate is honeyed and full, with rich intense bitter orange fruit. Ripe balancing acidity matches the huge complexity of this wine. With enormous length the finish is luscious, fruity and intense. A wine which is rare and of exceptional quality. Available in minute quantities it pays homage to the talents of the winemaker and justifies Riesling as the true ‘ King of Alsace’, one of the great wines of the world. With the ability to age for 20 years or more wine can be marveled at now or saved for the finest of occasions.
