Dona Casilda Rioja Tinto DOC

Notes - Bodegas San Martin de Abalos (near Fonzaleche) is a fairly new winery created in 1998 by the Gutierrez Abalos family. The winery and techniques are all very modern and the wine is very smartly presented. 70% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha Tinto and 15% Viura - Good ruby red colour with a slightly brownish rim. Red fruits on the nose mingle with subtle smokiness from American oak, touch of leather. Medium-bodied in style, good red fruit on the palate with a pleasant aftertaste.
