Notes - North America's only single malt whisky! Glen Breton Rare Canadian Single Malt Whisky is the only single malt whisky produced in Canada. The Glenora Inn & Distillery is located at Glenville, Inverness County, Nova Scotia, Canada. The Glenora Distillery, with an annual production of 250,000 litres of whisky, is the only single malt distillery in North America. The Distillery started production in June 1990. The Whisky is produced in traditional copper pot stills method using only three ingredients: Barley, Yeast and Water. The Glen Breton Ice-Wine Finish Whisky is just that - the Glen Breton whisky is aged in old oak barrels from
Jost Vineyards which have been used to make their Icewine and bottled at a cask strength of 57.2%. The nose displays rich fruit and a hint of sweetness from the Icewine oak barrels that were once used in making Icewine at Jost winery. Light and smooth with an elegant taste of peat, fruit, nuts and subtle exotic spices. A long and well-balanced finish.
