Reviews:
Cedar, burning embers, licorice, black currants, and espresso notes jump from the glass of this dense ruby/purple-colored, firm, tannic, powerful, and muscular style of Clerc-Milon. Quite virile, a bit angular, but at the same time packed and stacked, full and concentrated, this impressive blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot actually has higher alcohol (13.2%) than the 2003. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2020+. 90 Points, Robert Parker, Wine Advocate # 158 Drink 2011-2020.
This shows good blackberry, licorice and tobacco aromas. Full-bodied, with chewy tannins and a medium finish. Needs time to mellow. Best after 2008. 6,665 cases made. 89 Points, -James Suckling, Wine Spectator 2005.
