Meursault Blagny Chateau de Blagny 1er Cru

Wine information: An exclusive of Maison Louis Latour (monopole), the Château de Blagny is located high on the hillside overlooking Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet. A wonderful wine, traditionally vinified and matured in small oak barrels. It displays all the attributes of exemplary white Burgundy, showing opulence and a minerally freshness, coupled with rich, fat flavours which develop magnificently over time. A clear coloured wine with light green reflections, the Meursault Blagny has elegant buttery notes wonderfully balanced with an aroma of fresh hazelnuts. On the palate, this full-bodied wine has generous flavours of white fruits, finishing with complex flavours of citrus fruits. There is a great harmony between the aromas on the nose and the flavours in the palate. 12 months ageing in oak barrels, 100% malolactic fermentation.
