Eroica Riesling

Notes - Eroica is the result of a special partnership of German and American winemakers to craft an extraordinary Riesling from Washington state grapes. This a blend of two estates, Dr. Loosen from the Mosel and Chateau Ste. Michelle from the Columbia Valley - It’s an intermingling of Old World and New World philosophy and technique. Named after Beethoven’s Third Symphony. Eroica delivers a unique combination of tangerine, grapefruit and pear aromas characteristic of Washington state Riesling, melded with the slate and spice notes and lively acidity associated with German Riesling. There is a move towards the Germanic style with added minerality and exceptional refinement in the 2003 vintage.
