Champagne Krug 1995

Notes - Since 1843, with unique single-mindedness and sense of purpose, the Krug family has proudly cultivated the markedly individual character of their exceptional champagne. Theirs is a living legend, a certain idea of excellence that has been quietly redefined through six generations without a break. Krug Vintage is a statement – Krug’s definitive, one-off interpretation of the character of an outstanding year. The blend contains wines exclusively from that year. Krug Vintage is designed to blend vintage character with Krug’s house style. Krug selects young fermented wines which best represent the character of the particular year. The three grape varieties are blended to create harmony: Chardonnay’s elegance, Pinot noir’s fullness and the fruit of carefully selected Pinot meunier grapes bring finesse and complexity to the wine. Krug 1995 is the first Krug vintage release since the famous trilogy of 1988, 1989 and 1990.
