Notes -Produced in the Douro Valley, from traditional white grape varieties such as Malvasia Fina, Viosinho, Rabigato and
Codega. 100% fermented off the skins with natural yeast at between 18-22ºc. The fermentation was stopped once the must
had fermented to the desired degree of dryness, and fortification took place with grape brandy at 77% v/v. Dow’s Extra Dry
White was aged in oak casks for an average of 3 years at our lodges in Vila Nova de Gaia. Tasting Notes - Dow’s Extra Dry White has an attractive pale straw colour. On the nose very aromatic, with a unique grapey character. On the palate complex with fresh white fruit flavours and a lingering dry finish. Makes an excellent aperitif when served chilled or as a long drink with tonic water
and a slice of lemon.
