Champagne Moët et Chandon Brut Impérial Magnum

Notes - Moët & Chandon was founded in 1743 and has been making Champagne ever since. The quality of the wines gives full expression to the richness and diversity of the fabulous vineyards, the largest and most prestigious estate in the whole of Champagne, made up almost exclusively of Premiers Crus and Grands Crus. Moët & Chandon merged with Hennessy Cognac in 1971 and with Louis Vuitton in 1987 to become LVMH (Louis-Vuitton-Moët-Hennessy), the largest luxury group in the world. Moët & Chandon holds a Royal Warrant as supplier of champagne to Queen Elizabeth II. Brut Imperial was introduced in the 1860s. Moet et Chandon Brut Imperial NV is a blend of 40% Pinot Noir, 35% Pinot Meunier and 25% Chardonnay. It is pale lemon in colour with lively golden flecks and has a fine mousse. The nose displays aromas of limes and apples, hints of butter and brioche. The palate is round and friuty with great depth and concentration. There are flavours of peach, green apples, candied fruit and vanilla which lead to a clean, crisp finish.
