Notes - Orovela is a super premium wine from Georgia, the world’s oldest vine growing region. Orovela wines are mainly made from oldest Georgian indigenous grape varietals like Saperavi and Mtsvane but using very modern wine-making techniques to produce modern rich tones. Grapes for Orovela are harvested at the Chandrebi Estate, located on the right bank of the Alalzani River, near the village of Ikalto in Kakheti - the main wine producing region of Georgia. "Orovela" are traditional ploughing songs that used to be heard echoing across the land as ploughmen went about their work. This dry white wine is a blend of two of the many local and historic grape varieties unique to Georgia and is a blend of Mtsvane (85%) and Rkatsiteli (15%). Pale green.gold in colour, this wine offers ample yellow.plum aromas and hints of subtle tropical fruit. Its lively, zesty flavours are complemented by soft ample ripe textures and restrained exotic notes. It offers an exceptionally clean, minerally finish. Try as an aperitif or with poultry and seafood dishes. A truly modern Georgian wine.
