Crème de Fraises des Bois

Notes - The wild strawberry is small red, extremely delicate fruit. Picked by the Romans for its therapeutic virtues, wild strawberries spread through Europe during the 17th century. Crème à la Fraise des Bois is produced according to the traditional maceration process. Try it mixed with white wines, crémant or champagne instead of cassis. It can also be used in a variety of desserts.
