Gurra Creek Chardonnay

Notes - These wines, which are new to the UK market, are produced by Salena Estate Wines in South East Australia. The Gurra Creek range is an everyday range ideal for quaffing and comprises four varietals all at £4.99 per bottle. Cool night harvesting and careful winemaking result in a wine with a vibrant straw colour. The nose is of ripe tropical fruit, melon and citrus peel over a hint of honeyed bread roll. The palate also shows a citrus peel and melon fruitiness with a rich tropical note soft, easy drinking texture which is viscous with being cloying. The wine finishes with a crisp lemon peel freshness and invigorating acidity. Overall, this is a refreshing and lively wine to be enjoyed while young and fresh.
