Tasting Notes - The 1999 has fruit reminiscent of sweet berries and cherries (which can be attributed to the Merlot), with notes of mint, olives and tobacco (the Cabernet sauvignon) and spice (the Cabernet franc). The palate has a savoury texture with dark chocolate, and flavours of plums and berries. Firm and dry, and in its youth, with chalky even tannins, it has excellent aging potential (5-10 years).
