Notes - Located in the heart of the beautiful Marche region, Moncaro comprises 1,200 members who cultivate a total of 1,741 hectares of vineyard (60 of which have organic certification). The largest producer in the region, Moncaro have 3 separate wineries situated in the most important viticultural areas of the Marche; Montecarotto, Camerano and Acquaviva, allowing master winemaker, Giuliano d'Ignazi, to build an extensive portfolio of wines. 100% Verdicchio late harvested from 30 year old vines and subsequently dried for 10 weeks. The wine is then fermented and refined in barriques for 12 months and then aged in bottle for a further 12 months. This wine has a deep golden colour with an intense candied fruit bouquet with hints of spices and exotic fruits. A harmonious, muted taste and a typical length and aftertaste.
