Notes - Single Cask bottling of Bruichladdich 1991. This old malt is individually bottled and presented under the distinctive Coopers Choice label. Casks of malts at different ages are selected from some of Scotland's finest, but rarely bottled distilleries. They encompass all the varied tastes and flavours to be found from the Eastern coastline, to the Highland Valleys and all the way to the Western Isles. Bruichladdich is one of seven distilleries on Islay and is the only independently run one. It is the only distillery on Islay which bottles on-site. In May 2004, a cooperage hall was opened, and since December 2004, the malt used is grown on the island. In this year - August 24th - Ukraine declares independence from Soviet Union.
