Notes - 91% Zinfandel and 9% Petite Sirah. Grapes for the FFC Red Label Zinfandel are sourced from several appellations which when blended together create a unique and complex wine. These include the Hog's Canyon vineyard in Paso Robles and FFC's Sonoma vineyard. Grapes from the 200-acre Sonoma County vineyard location provides exceptionally high-quality fruit, which ripens evenly and exudes immense character and flavour. To add an extra layer of complexity, a small amount of Petite Sirah is blended into the wine. This contributes to the wine’s structure and lends a bit of tannin to balance out Zinfandel’s inherently “jammy” nature.
