Butler's Thief

Wine information: A butler's thief is a 2-pronged corked extractor. Wiggle the blades down either side of the cork between the cork and the glass and gently rotate and pull the cork out. This is particularly useful for older wines and ports that have long and crumbly corks and work suprisingly well. With a bit of practice it can be used to put corks back into a bottle, hence the name: butler's would open their master's wines drink some (or all!) and then top the bottles up with something else. Please notem, our Butler's Thiefs have a black handle. These also have a protective sheath for the 2 prongs.
