Puligny Montrachet Les Folatières 1er Cru

Wine information: Louis Jadot's Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières lies near the summit of a slope, above Clos de la Garenne approximately midway between Meursault and Montrachet. Domaine des Heritiers Louis Jadot, is proprietor of 0.24 ha in Les Folatieres, which produce a wine marrying intensity and finesse, with a full richness tempered by great elegance.

Tasting Notes: The Puligny Montrachet 1er cru "Les Folatières" has a pale gold colour. The soils give to this wine a very fine structure and mineral character, with fruit, honey and fern aromas. On the palate, the acidity is perfectly balanced and the wine has a good length.

Food & Wine match: This great wine will perfectly match the finest cooking: shellfish, poached fish, strong cheeses like Munster and ripe Comté.
