De Martino Legado Syrah Reserva

Wine information: De Martino Legado Reserva wines come from the family's own estate and are produced from grapes carefully selected and hand-picked. The wines receive 12 months ageing in French oak (except Sauvignon Blanc) and production is limited. This wine comes from the Choapa Valley, the narrowest part of Chile. The soils are of colluvial origin, clay, sand and deposits, which give freshness and mineral notes to this highly attractive wine.

Tasting Notes: De Martino Legado Syrah Reserva is a deep-red colour with hints of violet. On the nose, it is intense with cherry and violet notes. Oak-ageing adds complexity to the fruit without overpowering it. On the palate, it is balanced and fresh with great volume, soft tannins and a long finish.

Food & drink match: Excellent with red meats, mature cheeses or venison.
