Wild Rock Vin Gris Rosé

Wine information: Wild Rock Wines are striving to make wine in a way that complements the elements around them, producing regionally diverse wines via company vineyards: a combination of owned, leased and contracted vineyards situated in Hawke's Bay, Martinborough, Marlborough and Central Otago. Wild Rock Vin Gris Rosé is a blend of 95% Merlot, 3% Malbec and 2% Syrah, it is fermented in stainless steel vats and aged 3 months on lees prior to bottling. Wild Rock Wine is all about being committed to looking after their Wild Rock environment throughout New Zealand. It's about stewardship; wanting the land and vines to live and grow in a way that has the least impact on the environment.

Tasting Notes: Wild Rock Vin Gris Rosé has a bright, crimson, blush colour flecked with pinks. The nose is aromatically lifted with red cherry, cranberry, and a hint of yeast derived cream character. The palate is fresh with bracing acidity yet tempered by a sweet fruit core and a cleansing finish. Try with antipasti.
