Havana Club Anejo Especial

Tasting Notes - Anejo Especial has a lovely amber colour. This Cuban rum first manifests a floral bouquet and aromas of vanilla and light tobacco, then the more robust flavours appear, resulting from long ageing in barrels. Anejo Especial opens up into strongly flavourful spirits that reveal complex, lasting aromas of cacao, coffee, tobacco and spices. The complexity of its aromas are fully brought out by adding an ice cube or by allowing it to open up for a few minutes in the glass. It is a marvellous companion to its Cuban brother, the Havana cigar. Awards - In 1997, competing with the top 40 rums in the world at the Chicago World Spirits Championship, Anejo Reserva was awarded the silver medal at this prestigious international competition.Havana Club Rum
