Mixed Case of Wine - Alfresco Case

A mixed case of wine makes a great birthday or Christmas present, especially if you are stuck trying to find a wine gift for a wine lover. Or perhaps you need a corporate wine gift and know the recipient is a bit of wine buff. Sometimes it is just easier to have someone else do all the work for you. Mixed wine cases are also a great way of exploring wines from many different countries allowing you to try a wide range of wine types and grape varieties. So, if you wish to sample a range of wines from our extensive and diverse wine list, you can be assured that all the mixed cases of wine are carefully and thoughtfully chosen.

A mixed case of wine containing 12 bottles,

3 bottles Cantine Lunae Bosoni Millenium Tertium Vino Spumante di Qualita Brut, Liguria

3 bottles Sancerre Blanc, Domaine Bailly Reverdy

3 bottles Côte de Brouilly, Cave des Vigneron de Bel-Air

3 bottles Le Bonheur Cabernet Sauvignon, Simonsberg, Stellenbosch

A little step up from the Barbeque case. Includes three bottles of the lovely, lemony sparkling Millenium Tertium from Liguria, a great aperitif or brilliant with smoked salmon starters. Sancerre Bailly-Reverdy has chalky, gooseberry, flinty flavours and a gripping finish and has high praise from Robert Parker as "One of Sancerre's Best Producers..."; From the fantastic 2009 vintage is the Côte de Brouilly from Cave des Vigneron de Bel-Air full of violets and raspberries which can be served lightly chilled in the summer months. Lastly, for something a bit chunkier, there is a full rich Cabernet Sauvignon from South Africa.

Please find more information / tasting notes for each of the individual wines on their own pages.

From time to time some wines go out of stock we will replace them with a wine of equal or greater value. We will, of course, consult with the customer before we do so.
