Wine information: Maison Merc Brédif was founded in 1893 and is one of the most famous wine estates in Vouvray. It was acquired by Baron Patrick de Ladoucette (most famous for his Pouilly Fumé) in 1980. Brédif delivers consistent value. 100% Cabernet Franc. The grapes for the Marc Brédif Chinon grow in the northern part of the Chinon area, in Savigny-en-Véron. The vineyards are principally gravelly and have mostly north / south sun exposure. On the nose, intense, refined and fruity. Nuances of cherry, strawberry and spicy notes. In the mouth, a subtle attack; fruity, light structure. Fresh and aromatic finish.
