Wine information: The launch of Evan Williams Cherry Reserve follows closely on the heels of the hugely successful introduction of Evan Williams Honey Reserve. The Cherry Reserve is distilled at the world famous Heaven Hill Distillery in Barstow, Kentucky. Last of the family owned independent bourbon producers. Made with real cherries, this flavoured spirit is becoming increasingly popular, making great gains in many categories. Evan Williams Cherry Reserve is made with cherries and the same extra-aged Bourbon used to make Evan Williams Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey which gives it a great Bourbon taste. Evan Williams Cherry Kentucky Bourbon Liqueur has a pale amber colour. The nose is packed with cherry and berry fruits and cinnamon spice. The palate has flavours of plums, cherry sweetness and then caramel. The finish is reminiscent of cherry pipe tobacco and marzipan. "Smooth Bourbon. Cherry Zing." Try over ice or mixed with cola for for a "grown-up cherry-cola".
