Barbeito Colheita Single Harvest 1995 (500ml)

Notes - Barbeito is a family-owned company formed in 1946 by Mário Barbeito. Today Mario's grandson runs Vinhos Barbeito. Barbeito is a very traditinal cantiero style madeira and undergoes no de-acidification nor addition of caramel. This single barrel bottling is made from grapes harvested in 1995 and aged in French oak, it is 100% Tinta Negra Mole. It is a medium dry style, golden to brown in colour and has loads of walnut, spice and fruitcake notes on the nose and the palate. There is good acidity on the palate and hints of natural sweetness. Drink on its own, with walnuts or try with mushroom starters or beef consommé
