Trapiche Oak Cask Syrah

Notes - Trapiche, with over 120 years of history and owning over 1000 hectares of vineyards, are the number one exporter of Argentine wine in the world. 100% Shiraz / Syrah, temperature controlled malolactic fermentation followed by 12 months in American oak barrels. Closed using natural cork. This shiraz is an intense deep red colour with aromas of liquorice, leather, game, tobacco, chocolate,smoke and dried fruits on the nose. The palate is full bodied with intense blackberry fruit flavours, good acidity and a long finish. Ideal when served with Mediterranean style cooking, cheeses, stews and game.
