Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume "Vieilles Vignes" Grande Reserve du Domaine

Notes - Pascal and Joelle acquired Domaine Pascal Bouchard from experienced viticulturalist Andre Tremblay (Joelle's father) in 1979. At the beginning of the 1980s Pascal planted many new vines in the best possible locations. The estate now comprises 33 hectares covering the four appellations of Chablis, The third phase of their development was completed in 1995 with the construction of a brand new, modern winery. Romain Bouchard began working with his parents in 2000, having completed his studies in commerce and gained valuable working experience with another wine distributor. Romain now covers all aspects at Pascal Bouchard. A big, toasty wine, full of ripe, delicious fruit, veering toward opulence. There are open yellow fruits along with toast and butter tastes. This is almost ready to drink now, only the acidity promises some ageing.
